    • Misumi West Port

      It was built as one of the three major ports of construction in the Meiji era based on the Meiji government's domestic unification and breeding promotion policies.
      The port was designed by the Dutch hydraulic engineer Murdol from 1884 to 1887.
      A comprehensive city plan with 730m long masonry piers and floating piers, as well as well-organized roads and drainage canals has been made and protected as a valuable cultural property.
      It is also comfortable to take a walk while looking at the retro building, cobblestones and the sea from there.

    • Sakitsu Catholic Church / Sakitsu Village

      It is a church built on the coast of Sakitsu overlooking the calm Yokaku Bay.
      In 1569, Christianity was widely spread and preached here by Father Luis de Almeida.
      The current building was renovated by Father Halpe in 1934 and is a heavy Gothic building with high spire and tatami mats inside.
